Dr Amy Huxtable BMBS, MSc - Assistant Chief Instructor - 3rd Dan Black Belt.

 

Amy has been practising Karate and Kickboxing since 2004 in the Swansea area.

 

She was awarded her 2nd Degree Black Belt in August 2012 and her 3rd Degree Black Belts in June 2016.

 

She became an excellent fighter and superb technician of our style, and her level of performance and attitude is one that all students should aspire to.

 

Amy is an outstanding coach, Instructor and mentor to both the younger and older generation of students.

 

In addition, Amy was instrumental in working with Mr Huxtable to set up the Lil' Dragons Programme in the Academy.  Her Masters Degree is in Child Health and Excercise.

 

Amy qualified and represented Wales in the World Karate and Kickboxing Championships in Spain in October 2009, taking a bronze medal in traditional Karate Kumite.

 

She was also the Interclub Grand Champion Ladies Advanced Category Winner for 2009.

 

Amy continues to teach during her holidays when she is home from Cheltenham where she works in the General Hosptal.
